Winemaker Patrick Sullivan created a unique style, producing an elegant Pinot Noir that reflects the best qualities of the vineyard site. This wine originated from a steep hillside vineyard high above the town of Occidental, a site known for producing wines with incredible intensity and structure. The main clone selected from this site is a Pommard clone, and it provides tremendous strength. A small percentage of fruit from a vineyard located in an extreme growing area near Annapolis was added to bring out a little spice and verve.
The wine is rich, round and elegant and full of dark berry cherry fruits that slowly evolve to reveal savory notes of spice and grilled meats. Great structure and plenty of acid and tannins help frame the wine, revealing layers of complexity with a long rich, elegant, and lovely finish. It is a serious wine for the serious collector, and it promises to be the centerpiece of any occasion. Alcohol 14.8%.
Only 125 cases handcrafted, $80 per bottle, minimum three-bottle order.
A deep ruby color in the glass offering a lush profile of aromas, including notes of ripe red berries, accompanied by hints of plum and earthy undertones. On the palate the Succession is full-bodied with a velvety texture and well-integrated tannins, providing a smooth and elegant mouthfeel. The unique terroir from the Goose and William Michael Estate vineyards contribute to the wine’s complexity, offering a balance between fruit-forwardness and structured acidity.
Only 100 cases handcrafted, $90 per bottle, minimum three-bottle order.
Our first vintage farmed by our neighbors down the road, the famed Bacigalupi Vineyard. This wine shows beautiful minerality and floral aromas on the nose. Balanced and structured with hints of green apple and flora. Aged carefully for 18 months in 40% new French Oak under the steady winemaking of Patrick Sullivan. Alcohol 14.7%.
Only 190 cases handcrafted, $50 per bottle, minimum three-bottle order.
This wine shows incredible aromas of bright florals and honeysuckle. Stone fruits and citrus dance on the nose. These same fruits and deep citrus, along with crisp notes of green apple, flow through a long finish front to back. This wine, named after our beloved granddaughter Sophie, is the fifth bottling of our Chardonnay estate vineyard. Alcohol 14.8%.
Only 105 cases handcrafted, $55 per bottle, minimum three-bottle order.
This wine is spirited, memorable and impressively generous and balanced, showing strength and complexity. Delicate red fruits from Laguna along with tannins from Lancel Creek mix with the power and intensity of fruit from our estate vineyard on Westside Road. This wine has a wonderful mid-palate and a lasting finish. Its character will last for decades.
Clones used in this wine are Pommard, Calera, 777, and Pisoni. Fruit was night harvested by hand and de-stemmed with 10% whole clusters added. Only French oak barrels were used – 40% new. Malolactic fermentation was allowed to occur naturally. Barrels were transferred to the coldest section of the barrel room and remained in contact with lees for less than 15 months, before being racked once and blended for bottling. Alcohol 14.4%.
Only 400 cases handcrafted, $60 per bottle, minimum three-bottle order.
This wine has a beautiful pink hue like the 2019s demonstrated. The nose is bursting and vibrant with bright fresh citrus and floral aromas. Fresh picked strawberries and bright red flowers explode up front, and tropical notes bring you back home.
The palate is intense and concentrated but framed with lively acidity and a super clean finish. The freshness of this wine makes it a perfect match for cheese or charcuterie. The beauty of a Rosé is that it pairs with everything, especially in Spring and Summer.
Just over 100 cases handcrafted, $32 per bottle, minimum three-bottle order.
The Thompson 31Fifty 2019 Martinelli Wedding Block single vineyard Pinot Noir is as drinkable as it is intriguing. Beautiful and smooth with brightness of berries on the back palate. This wine has quite a bit of aging potential and develops beautifully as it gets more air. Balanced, distinguished, and well made, this is the Thompson's special block of Pinot Noir off this site. Aged for 18 months in French oak. Alcohol 14.3%, $80 per bottle.
Lolita Ranch is farmed by the renowned Lee Martinelli Jr. and is on a steep slope in Forestville with escalating elevations. Powerful yet balanced, this wine is beautifully structured. Plump, fleshy and full bodied with lemongrass aromas followed by Granny Apple and melon flavors. Rich and strong with an elegant finish with a touch of minerality. Alcohol 14.7%.
Only 200 cases handcrafted. $50 per bottle, minimum three-bottle order.

Sales Tax
California residents are charged California Sales Tax. Some states outside of California require that we collect sales tax payable to that state. If we are required to collect sales tax for your state, the tax may be added to your order before we can deliver your wine.
We appreciate your patience while we get our tax and compliance information resolved.
